Tory Island Co.Donegal, Staycation 2020

Image
Welcome back to Stay Sásta. I hope you are all doing great and enjoying some more normality. Recently I visited Tory Island for a few days on a staycation and I had the best time. It was like I was abroad on holiday. If you watched my IGTV that I posted during the week then you would have seen plenty of what we got up to and saw, but I decided to write this blogpost with more info and ideas of places to see. I'll go through what we did each day and add a few snaps. Hope you enjoy and maybe find this helpful! Day 1: We travelled to Tory on Friday afternoon. As I live near the pier we didn't have far to go to get the boat. We had an amazing sailing with plenty of blue skies. It was a little bit choppy but I'm lucky as I never get sea sick, my family on the other hand weren't so lucky. Once we landed we headed up to the hotel for lunch and a drink to settle the stomachs! We cycled to where we were staying and unpacked for our lil holiday. I spent the evening cycling about

Redecorating my room || On a budget & in Quarantine

Image
Hey everyone and welcome back! I hope you guys are keeping well and looking forward to a whole new month ahead. Today I'm going to be chatting about how I redecorated my room on a budget and during quarantine. A lot of what I did is DIY and will show you how you can totally transform a room without spending too much. I decided to redecorate for my birthday back in March. I had just moved home and it was that point of quarantine (before my baking phase) that I was so bored and had nothing to do. As you can see from my before snaps my room was very dull and cluttered looking all the time. The first thing I did was paint my furniture to freshen them up a bit, I took the before pics after this as you can see. At this point I had no idea what kind of colour scheme I was going to go for but I loved the blue/turquoise Frenchic paint I found in Harbour Road.  The second thing I did was cleared out my room and started painting. I had a little baby pink frame that I loved the colour of and I

My Goals For The Next 6 Months

Image
Hey everyone and welcome back to Stay Sásta. How is it July already?! Today's blogpost is all about setting goals and manifesting them. I always set myself goals and I feel it really helps me stay focused. You can accomplish so much if you set your mind to it.  Here are a few from the list of goals I set for myself back in January: -Save money; I think Quarantine helped with that one! -Cut down on sugar in coffee; I used to take sooo much sugar in my coffee but I started drinking iced coffee's all the time and I don't put sugar in them so mission accomplished. -Adventure more; If I had known back in January I'd be at home for 3 months this goal probably wouldn't of made the list but now its made me so motivated to make up for lost time and adventure all summer. -Read a book a month; This might be something small for people but finishing a book within a month is such an accomplishment for me lol. I have a list and I had in every month what book I'm going to read.
