Split, Croatia - 5 DAY ITINERARY🥥🌊🌞🗺️🤍

Image
Long time no seeeee. I can't believe I had abandoned this website for so long 😢. I love writing but final year of college was very busy so this is the first chance I've had to catch up. And what better way to do it then a girls trip itinerary 🌞. We just got back from Split in Croatia so I thought I'd share our itinerary while it's still fresh in my head. Hopefully this will help you if you are planning a trip to Croatia. It has to be one of the most amazing places I have ever been so I am very excited to share it with you. So lets goooooo!! Flights: We booked our flights at the beginning of April, so they were a wee bit of expensive but nothing crazy! We flew with Ryanair from Dublin to Split Airport. Our flight was on a Sunday evening so we drove up and parked the car in the Blue Holiday Carpark. This was so easy to get to the airport and helped make the journey stress free. I use Revolut Premium for my travel insurance which meant I got discounted access to the Lo

Going from stuck in a rut to sticking to a routine

Hello hello and welcome back to Stay Sásta. It is currently Wednesday evening, it’s dull and to be honest I’m feeling quite meh. Part of me was thinking to myself are you really gunna preach about routine when the most productive thing you did today was make coffee? And the answer to that is yes, yes I am. I think it is so important to be realistic and know that not everyday is going to be perfect and there will be so many days that you don’t stick to your routine. You decide what feels right each day and never put pressure on yourself, just go with the flow. I love having some kind of routine to follow. I’ve gone from getting up at 6am to struggling to get out of bed before 10, but I am working my way back to the early morning club. There’s no right or wrong way to spend your morning so wake up at whatever time works for you. I’m going to be sharing what’s worked for me in trying to get out of a slump. I hope it helps :) 1. UNDERSTAND YOUR WHY: I think this is a key element when you

My best purchases of 2021

Long time no see….. the amount of blogpost drafts I have from the past 6 months is a lil embarrassing. I’ve been in such a writing slump but I finally have some creativity coming back to me. Writing blogposts was what started my lil page so it’s about time I gave it more attention. I would love Stay Sásta to become a place where you can click in and find something to read or discover a new product, like a mini magazine. So to start the year off I’m going to be talking all about my best purchases of 2021, and the things I think are worth spending money on so let’s goooo: 1. VEJA VENTURI’S: I debated buying these for so long. I had a pair of white chunky runners from Public Desire (some of you might remember them from Éadaí SOS or Instagram) but I wore them to death! Like to the point there was a hole in the sole. So seeing as I wore them daily I decided to invest in a pair of good quality runners. I really like Veja’s and when I found the Venturi style I was obsessed!! So I saved my pe

Hellooo and welcome back to Stay Sásta. I can't believe I'm already writing this blogpost but yesterday was Stay Sásta's first birthday!! One year ago today I pressed the publish button for the first time after talking myself in and out of it so so many times. I can honestly say nothing has ever made me prouder than this blog and my Instagram this past year. Today I'm going to share some of my biggest milestones and the moments that stood out to me. Grab a coffee and lets take a trip down memory lane :)  My first blogpost🥰 I remember this day so well and seeing people share this post on Instagram. I was sooo shocked at the response!! The Donegal Bucketlist💚💛 This was my favourite Blogpost for sure. I had so much fun ticking places off during the summer and making vlogs on Insta of my adventures.  Winning Shauna Doyle’s content challenge 🥺📸 This photo challenge  gave me the best opportunity to start getting more creative on my Instagram and I got to find so many ot

My Skincare Favs & Updated Skincare Routine 2021

Image
Hello lovelies and welcome back to Stay Sásta. I have been so quiet on here recently because things have been so busy and I had little to no motivation to write but we are back :) In today's blogpost I am going to be chatting all things skincare. Last year I posted my favourite beauty bits which included some of my skincare favs. This year I've been really focusing on setting a solid skincare routine for morning and night and sticking to it! I've been using most of these products for a few months now and I've been changing and adding certain things but I've finally got it down to a T! (Get it? T-Zone? A lil skincare pun to start us off hehe) First skincare essential I want to chat about is double cleansing. This has been a game changer for me. I started double cleansing in December and I haven't looked back. Double cleansing is so important to really get the value out of your cleansers. In the morning the first cleanser I use is the La Roche Posay Toleraine cle

Our favourite pick me ups🤍

Hellooo & welcome back to Stay Sásta. Recently on my Instagram I asked you all what were your favourite quotes/ what was the best advice you’ve received. I’ve compiled them all here in this blogpost so if you ever need a pick me up there will always be something for you here. A big thank you to everyone who sent anything in, I was blown away with the response. I will keep adding to this so if you would like any more added leave it in the comments or message me. Enjoy xx “What’s for you won’t pass you by” “Instead of looking into the future, focus on what can make you happy right now” “Don’t stress the could haves, if it should have, it would have” “Worrying is like a rocking chair - you go back and forth but it gets you nowhere” “Do more of what makes you happy” “You can’t please everyone” “You only have one life, it’s your duty to live it as fully as possible” “What’s seldom is wonderful” “Treat every day as your last” “To the world you’re just one person but to one person you ar

Realistic Resolutions

Happy New Year!! I hope you are all keeping well and feeling ready to take on another lockdown &  New Year. If not, don’t worry, I’ve put together a little list of resolutions that will help you get motivated without draining yourself. This can be a hard time of year for a lot of people but the most important thing to setting goals and getting back into routine is to not put pressure on yourself. These resolutions don’t need to be done in one day, you can start small an build yourself up week by week. I hope these ideas help you to get motivated and feel refreshed. 1. Go for a walk & listen to a podcast; This is my main resolution for 2021! I love clearing my head by going for a walk but I’ve recently struggled with the motivation to get up and go, sooo to motivate myself I pick a podcast for every day (Also posting these on my Instagram stories to hold myself accountable). It is so important to get fresh air these days. 2. Start Journaling; Something I can’t wait to improv
