My Skincare Favs & Updated Skincare Routine 2021

Hello lovelies and welcome back to Stay Sásta. I have been so quiet on here recently because things have been so busy and I had little to no motivation to write but we are back :) In today's blogpost I am going to be chatting all things skincare. Last year I posted my favourite beauty bits which included some of my skincare favs. This year I've been really focusing on setting a solid skincare routine for morning and night and sticking to it! I've been using most of these products for a few months now and I've been changing and adding certain things but I've finally got it down to a T! (Get it? T-Zone? A lil skincare pun to start us off hehe)

First skincare essential I want to chat about is double cleansing. This has been a game changer for me. I started double cleansing in December and I haven't looked back. Double cleansing is so important to really get the value out of your cleansers. In the morning the first cleanser I use is the La Roche Posay Toleraine cleanser. It's got such a lovely soothing texture so it's perfect for first thing in the morning. I rub my face with the cleanser for 30 seconds (I learnt this from Moya Mahwhinney on youtube, she said it takes 30 seconds for your cleanser to really work). After using the first cleanser, I then use the Soap And Glory Vitamin C facial wash. I've been using this for years and I always find it so refreshing.

After this I use the La Roche Posay Serozinc spray toner. I love how soothing this is on the skin and how it's in spray form. It always feels amazing!

I then use The Ordinary Niacinamide and Zinc serum. I've repurchased this three times this year so far and I love it. I used to use their hyaluronic acid serum but I've found that the niacinamide and zinc one suits my skin much better.

Finally I use the CeraVe Facial Moisturising Lotion with SPF25. I've found that this product leaves my skin so glowy and moisturised for the whole day.

In the evening the only difference I make is I use the Clarins Take The Day Off balm to remove makeup and it is by far my favourite product ever!! It removes all makeup effortlessly and leaves your skin so clean. It even removes eyemakeup so well. I then cleanse with my Soap and Glory cleanser and follow the same steps as before.

I was recently sent a gorgeous PR package from Human & Kind of some of their fab skincare and haircare products so I will be testing them out and will keep you all posted on how I find them on Insta.

That's all from me today. I will hopefully be back next Friday with another blogpost now that I have some inspiration back. I think with the end of lockdown insight and things opening up there's a light at the end of the tunnel 🌞

Le grá,

M x
