A Day Of Adventuring In The Sunny South-East.

After a crazy month I am finally back writing here. Between work and getting ready to move back to Dublin I didn't get a chance to open my laptop. But I thought this is the best time to get back into it. Now that I'm back in Dublin I should have more exciting content to share with you all (hopefully). If yesterday is anything to go by anything can happen in a day here.

We woke up to another scorcher of a day. After checking the weather app we decided it was a day to be spent on a beach or somewhere to enjoy the heat, staying in the apartment just wasn't an option. One very convincing phone call from Ciara Murray later and we decided we would do the Greystones to Bray Cliff Walk. We got the Dart from Clontarf to Bray.

The views the whole way were unbelievable. Once we got to Bray we had some snacks and sat on the beach until the rest of the group arrived. When the rest arrived we headed off on the walk. I know most people start in Greystones but we decided to start in Bray as we had an exciting plan for lunch. The walk in total is 7km but isn't too strenuous. I honestly felt like I was in Capri or somewhere with the heat and the views.

We met a lady who does the walk every day with her dog and I can totally see why, it was gorgeous. While we were walking we found an ice cream van and everything. You can see Greystones from a distance stretching out in front of you after you come around a corner and it was breath-taking. None of us could even figure out where the sea ended and where the sky started, it was all just blue.

After arriving in Greystones we walked to The Happy Pear. A few buddha bowls and some lemonade later, we were all feeling refreshed. The Happy Pear definitely lived up to the hype. They have this gorgeous outdoor seating area where we got to enjoy the sunshine.

Afterwards we strolled down to the Dart and headed to Dún Laoghaire. We were set on going to the Forty Foot but once we got there we decided not to jump as there was quite a big group of people gathered. Instead we strolled about Dún Laoghaire taking in the views.

Everyone was sitting with their bags of chips enjoying the evening sun. Eventually it was time to go home. We went from  having no plans for the day to having one of the best days ever. I can't recommend doing the walk and visiting those places enough!!
Thanks for reading and hopefully the next blogpost won't take me as long lol.
